What is ProxyHub?

ProxyHub is a digital mailbox service. You receive a German receiving address where your letters and packages are delivered. We accept them, photograph the envelope, and show you everything in the portal. You decide per shipment what should happen: scan, forward, or destroy.

How does ProxyHub work?

You register, receive a receiving address, and use it when placing orders. We accept your mail, photograph the envelope, and notify you. You then decide with a click: open and scan, forward, or destroy.

Who uses ProxyHub?

Privacy-conscious online shoppers, digital nomads, frequent travelers, freelancers, and small teams. Everyone who needs a reliable German address without giving away their private address.

Can I try ProxyHub for free?

Yes. The Flex plan is permanently free. No base fee, no minimum term. You only pay for actions you actually use.

Can I use ProxyHub in other countries?

Yes. Your receiving address is always in Germany, but you can access your portal from anywhere in the world and request forwarding.

Can I use ProxyHub in Switzerland?

Yes. You order to your German ProxyHub address and have letters and packages forwarded to Switzerland.

Can I use ProxyHub in Austria?

Yes. Same as Switzerland: German receiving address, forwarding to Austria.

Letters & Packages

How often are my letters scanned?

Envelopes are photographed immediately upon arrival. Contents are scanned once you trigger the 'Open & Scan' action.

Is the content of letters always fully scanned?

Yes. We scan all pages of the letter content in high resolution.

Can I pick up my shipments from you?

We currently don't offer pickup. Shipments can be forwarded or destroyed.

What do I need to consider when setting up mail forwarding?

You need a valid delivery address in your profile. Forwards are bundled as bulk forwards (up to 25 letters per shipment).

What is the address of my digital mailbox?

Your personal receiving address can be found in the dashboard under 'Receive'. It is generated when you create your first recipient.

How is my mail stored?

Letters are stored dry and securely. The storage period depends on your plan (90 days for all plans). After that, GDPR-compliant destruction takes place.

How can I change the recipient name of my mailbox?

You can create new recipients at any time. The number depends on your plan.

How are documents with seals scanned (e.g. notary and court documents)?

We scan all documents carefully. For sealed documents, we first scan the envelope and you decide whether it should be opened.

Are there extra fees per scan or per destruction, or is that included in the subscription?

Destruction is free in all plans. Scans are included depending on the plan or billed per unit.

Costs

What is included in the Flex plan?

Unlimited mail intake, envelope scanning, 1 recipient. No base fee. Actions like Open & Scan, forwards, and package forwards are billed per unit.

Is there a monthly base fee or do I only pay per letter?

With the Flex plan, you pay no base fee, only unit prices for actions. From Advanced onwards, there is a monthly fee with included services.

Does opening and scanning letter contents cost extra?

With the Flex plan, yes (€2.00 per scan). In higher plans, scans are included; beyond that, lower unit prices apply.

What costs arise if I want an original physically sent to me?

Unit prices for mail bulk forward or package forward apply, plus postage.

What are the fees for long-term archiving of originals?

Letters are stored free for 90 days. Packages for 7-14 days depending on plan. After that, automatic destruction (letters) or return to sender (packages).

Is professional destruction of my documents included in the price?

Yes, destruction is included free of charge in all plans.

Are there hidden costs for setup or a mail forwarding order?

No. No setup fees, no minimum term. A mail forwarding order with Deutsche Post must be set up by you yourself.

Can I switch between the Flex and Premium plan at any time?

Yes, upgrade anytime. Downgrade at the next billing month. No penalties.
